Baking Soda
A mixture of baking soda and a little water on a sponge is great for cleaning bench-tops, cabinets and other hard surfaces.
Add dry baking soda to the carpets, leave for a hour and vacuum. This is a great deodorizer.
Baking Soda and Toothpaste
Baking soda and toothpaste (use non-gel toothpaste) can clean many wooden surfaces.
Lemon Juice
This is great for dissolving grease, or removing many types of mold. It also smells much better than chemical cleaners.
Essential oils
Add these to soapy water for a great smelling cleaner. Just find the oil you like best. Peppermint or lavender are popular choices. |
